Tentang VIRUS...

Cara mendeteksi serangan virus:

1. Men-cek Proses yang sedang berjalan di Task Manager, process apa yang kira2 menyebabkan tidak bisa melakukan double-click pada harddisk. Setelah dicek, ternyata terdapat proses yang bernama ” .exe” dan bukan bawaan vendor tertentu. Ketika proses ini di-end-task, proses ini akan berhenti, namun saat komputer direstart, maka proses ini akan berjalan lagi. Asumsi : proses ini sudah menyimpan sebuah registry di Windows.
2. Dengan menggunakan program yang bernama ProcessMonitor dan ProcessExplorer. Kemudian mencari proses yang namanya sudah diketahui sebelumnya di ProcessExplorer/Process Monitor. Setelah proses tersebut ditemukan, maka di cek properties-nya letak penyimpanan "sodara2nya" dimana aja. Contoh kasus, tersimpan di “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCur rentVersionRun” (registry windows - bisa diakses dengan mengetikkan regedit di run), system32, dan di Drive C:. Setelah mengetahui letak master copy virus, maka proses berikutnya adalah menghapus semua proses dan registry yang telah diketahui tersebut, antara lain dengan : mematikan terlebih dahulu processnya (lewat process explorer/process monitor), menghapus kode di registry, menghapus virus yang ada di master location..(biasanya di system32).
3. Apabila ada masalah lagi saat menghapus master copy yang terletak di system32 dan tidak bisa menemukan master copy yang terletak di system32, maka coba langkah berikutnya, dengan membuka Tools>Folder Options>trus ke Tab View, dan centang Hide Extensions for known file types + Hide protected operating system filesnya dinonaktifkan sementara serta centang Show hidden files and folder diaktifkan. Akhirnya bisa ditemukan copy dari virus ini, kemudian dihapus, namun sebelumnya compress terlebih dulu (dan diberi password tentunya) untuk kemudian dikirimkan ke perusahaan antivirus.

Cara men-scan VIRUS... (menggunakan SMADAV):

1. Install SMADAV versi terbaru (download smadav).

2. Jalankan SMADAV pada tab Scanner, Beri centang pada Computer Drive untuk membersihkan virus diseluruh drive yang anda punya.

3. Lalu tekan tombol SCAN >> untuk memulai proses scanning.

4. Tunggu hingga proses scanning selesai 100%

5. Apabila komputer anda terdeteksi virus, maka SMADAV memberikan kotak peringatan seperti gambar di bawah ini:

6. Klik OK, lalu klik tombol FIX ALL.

7. Selesai dech, komputer anda sudah bersih dari virus.

Cara scan flashdisk/kabelUSB anda menggunakan SMADAV :

1. Colokkan Flashdisk/USB anda ke USB drive komputer anda.

2. Apabila Flashdisk/USB anda terdeteksi virus. Maka akan tampil kotak seperti ini :

3. Jangan panik. langsung klik tombol FIX ALL. Tunggu sampai file virusnya hilang.

4. Selesai dech, flashdisk atau kabel USB anda sudah bersih.

Cara menangani VIRUS LOHAN:

Virus ini cara kerjanya mirip pesin, kalo pembaca belum pernah mendengar virus ini saya akan menjelaskan sedikit mengenai virus pesin. Virus pesin ini akan mengkopi dirinya dengan nama SysTask.exe ke dalam direktori C:\WINDOWS\System32 (atau C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 - untuk Windows NT/2000). Lalu bila pengguna memasukkan disket ke komputer yang terinfeksi, maka bila ada file word pada disket tersebut akan diganti namanya menjadi ~Temp45.45 dan mengkopi virus ke disket dengan nama macam-macam, seperti "Jangan dibuka.exe" dan lain-lain. Selain itu virus ini akan mematikan regedit.exe

Virus LOHAN ini juga mengkopi dirinya ke direktori yang sama dengan yang dilakukan virus pesin, dengan nama ssEvtMgr.exe Kelebihan virus ini adalah selain mematikan regedit.exe juga mematikan fungsi Task Manager, sehingga bila pengguna ingin memakai Task Manager, maka komputer akan hang hing hong ;)

Sekarang bagaimana mengatasinya ? Virus ini termasuk virus yang mudah ditanggulangi. Jika OS yang terinfeksi :

1. Windows 9.x/XP
- Restart Windows, lalu masuk ke safe mode (dengan memencet F6 atau F8, sewaktu muncul logo Windows)
- Klik Start -> Run , ketik "command"
- Lalu ketik "cd c:\windows\system32"
- Lalu ketik "del ssEvtMgr.exe"
- Restart kembali windows anda, dan selamat komputer anda sudah beres

2. Windows 2000/NT
- Restart Windows, lalu masuk ke safe mode with command prompt (dengan memencet F8 sewaktu muncul progress bar)
- Lalu ketik "cd c:\winnt\system32"
- Lalu ketik "del ssEvtMgr.exe"
- Restart kembali windows anda, dan selamat komputer anda sudah beres

Satu lagi, kemungkinan virus tersebut menulis sesuatu di registry anda, coba buka regedit anda dan cari string ssEvtMgr, jika ada hapus saja (bisa saja tidak dihapus soalnya udah gak ngaruh).

Perbedaan Virus Lokal dan Asing

Beberapa tahun terakhir perkembangan virus semakin menggila. Bukan cuma virus asing atau mancanegara yang menyerang komputer kita tetapi virus lokal buatan anak negeri ini tidak kalah hebatnya dalam merusak sistem komputer kita. Jika diperhatikan antara virus lokal dan asing terdapat beberapa perbedaaan. Perbedaan tersebut dapat kita uraikan sebagai berikut:

Virus Lokal
- Selalu mengusung tema cinta, seperti virus kangen/ Fawn/ Oryps dan lain-lainya
- Memberikan pesan moral misalnya worm.NA/KillAV,codex dan lainnya

Virus Asing
Mempelambat koneksi internet/ jaringan atau sistem komputer

SASARAN

Virus Lokal
Menyerang data khususnya file Microsoft Office

Virus Asing
Menyerang traffic jaringan internet sehingga menjadi lambat bahkan berhenti sama sekali.

PENYEBARAN

Virus Lokal

- Penyebarannya masih terbatas dan mengandalkan USB Flash Disk. Baca disini untuk mencegah virus masuk ke flash disk secara manual

- Ada juga yang menyebar via email walaupun kasusnya tidak banyak.

Virus Asing

Penyebarannya mengandalkan jaringan internet dan jaringan LAN bahkan beberapa mengeksploitasi celah keamanan supaya dapat menginfeksi secara otomatis ke seluruh komputer dalam jaringan tanpa dapat dicegah oleh penggunanya.

 - Menyembunyikan atau menghilangkan file khususnya file Microsoft Office

- Membuat duplikat file di setiap folder dan sub folder

- Menyamarkan icon yang menyertai file yang terinfeksi seperti menggunakan icon folder, word, txt jika dilihat pakai details maka akan terlihat ekstensinya EXE atau aplication.

Virus Asing
- Menguasai sistem komputer dan mencoba mendapatkan informasi terutama informasi pribadi seperti kartu kredit dan lain-lainya dari PC yang terinfeksi, kemudian mengirimkannya ke pembuat virus.

- Lebih terorganisir, beberapa bahkan memiliki motif mencari keuntungan financial seperti pencurian PIN kartu kredit.

 

Cara Mudah Menangulangi Virus Lokal Dan Asing

Untuk menangulangi Virus Baik Local Maupun Asing ada cara yang mudah. Yaitu dengan Memback-up sistem komputer yang Fress ( Baru siap install ) nich denga menggunakan Norton Ghost. Nah yakinkan tuch image ( Hasil Back-up sistem ) di simpan di hard-disk dengan file sistem FAT-32 couse kalo kita menggunakan NTFS ntar nga kebaca dunk di DOS.

Setelah memback-up sistem anda dan menyimpan di partisi yang berformat FAT-32 maka masukkin dech virus n jalanin biar kompi anda kena virus. setelah itu baru anda rescue sistem dengan cd-bootable n program ghost ( Ghost anda dua versi Window & Dos ). di yakinin dech virus yang ada di sistem pasti hilang. nah buat virus yang ada di drive lain di delete aja. caranya cari file yang ber extensi *.exe tapi kamuflase dari Word, Excel, Jpg, Folder. nach untuk cara membalikkan file yang hilang ( Word, Excel ) pake printah attrib di dos. tapi pastikan dulu file itu ada dengan perintah "Dir /a" nah klo di dos nampa file tersebut tapi di windows nga' ada maka pake perintah attri "Attrib -r -s -h -a /s /d" mksd nya baca aja di dos :) :)

1. autoexec.bat is a system file found originally on DOS-type operating systems. It is a plain-text batch file that is located in the root directory of the boot device. The name of the file stands for "automatic execution", which describes its function in automatically executing commands on system startup; the portmanteau was coined in response to the 8.3 filename limitations of the FAT file system family.
